Play BreakDown

Play #41 Nevada vs Loyola Marymount Pushing Screener and Team Officiating Stop the clip with 1:12 remaining on the game clock. Take note of the time and score. We have to be really good in the last 2min and this is a great example of courage and team officiating. Trail needs to step down and be closer to the 28’ mark or a step or two behind the ball handler which would give a better look at the on ball defender and the next play which is the ball screen. Center helps referee the ball screen and the screeners defender who in this case pushes the screener which makes the screen look illegal. The Center does an excellent job of being patient, giving the Trail a chance to referee the play but has the courage to come and get the first foul that the Trail couldn't see which was the push in the back. Lead has big picture, sees the ball screen coming and is ready to pick up secondary help defenders in his primary.
